Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide onsite technical support across the Southwest region, with travel to customer sites for installations, commissioning, maintenance, or calibrations of Atlas Copco tools and systems.

You will report to the Regional Team Leader and ideally reside in Kansas or Missouri, traveling up to 60% locally and 40% nationally as required. The role emphasizes problem solving, hands-on repairs, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication across levels.
• Proficiency in IT, MS Office, and networking or wireless tech.
• Ability to travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally.
• Valid US Driver's License and high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and assist with issues.
• Create detailed reports and capture costs through admin work.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, programming, and repairs.
• Reinforce correct operation and best practices of Atlas Copco equipment.
• Travel to emergency field repairs and coordinate travel schedules.
• Interface with customers regionally and internally.
