Job summary

Live4Lali, Inc. is seeking a South Cook County Outreach Coordinator to provide essential support in harm reduction efforts across Southern Cook County. The role involves distributing naloxone, offering peer support, and ensuring proper training in overdose prevention and harm reduction.

Successful candidates will possess lived experience and a strong commitment to reducing stigma associated with substance use disorder. This full-time position requires flexibility in scheduling to meet community needs and will involve regular travel to service locations.

Qualifications

• Must have lived experience with at least 2 years in recovery/remission from substance use disorder.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Minimum two years’ work experience in substance use disorder, mental health, public health or social work.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas of need and distribute naloxone.
• Provide peer-based support and referrals.
• Assist with maintaining harm reduction inventory.
• Log and report data collected during outreach.
