Job summary

SIGMA-US is seeking a seasoned sales professional to identify and win new business with regional mainstream grocers and specialty chains across key geographies. This role owns the full new account lifecycle from outreach to first shipment, scaling up and transitioning to existing account management.

Responsibilities include negotiating terms, building a strong pipeline, and driving velocity and assortment expansion.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years experience of CPG food sales with a focus on new business development within regional mainstream grocery and specialty retail

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and assess product-market fit for target accounts
• Negotiate trading terms, promotions, and distribution agreements; manage pipeline from outreach to first shipment
• Drive velocity, expansion, and distribution; tailor go-to-market strategies using early sales data
• Develop store-level execution playbooks covering shelf standards and display priorities
• Build and train store-level field teams and coordinate with brokers and distributors
• Maintain relationships with regional buyers, category managers, and store-level decision-makers
• Track territory performance and contribute to quarterly business planning and forecasts
• Other duties as assigned
