Job summary

Follett Higher Education seeks a Group Vice President (GVP) to develop and implement corporate strategies across regions and stores, driving financial performance, omnichannel sales, and customer service excellence. The GVP will oversee budgeting, regional operations, and stakeholder relationships, while leading regional and store managers to deliver on Follett’s growth initiatives on campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years managing 150+ employees across multiple teams.
• Strong financial acumen with retail industry experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• High energy, self-motivated, results-driven and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple regions and store budgets.
• Manage regional managers: staffing, training, performance, and salary decisions.
• Coordinate with Home Office on initiatives, policies, and standards.
• Visit stores to audit merchandising, loss prevention, and customer service.
• Collaborate on new store openings and existing store closings.
• Plan annual budgets, forecasts, and sales/expense targets.
