Thomas Talent Network, LLC is seeking a Managing Director - Global Chemical Exports to spearhead the expansion of a global chemical export business from South Korea. The role targets growth in high-value markets and requires building a commercial team, leveraging relationships with South Korean producers, customers, and logistics partners.

The successful candidate will lead regional growth, develop sourcing strategies, and expand exports to North America, Europe, Japan, and beyond.

Qualifications

• Senior chemical trading/export, international business, and supplier-development experience.
• Strong network of South Korean chemical manufacturers/producers and international customers.
• Deep knowledge of export regulations, global trade, logistics, and commercial negotiations.
• Ability to lead regional growth, sourcing strategy, and a scalable revenue-producing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial growth and export operations in South Korea with regional strategies.
• Build and develop a scalable commercial sales operation and team.
• Expand exports into North America, Europe, Japan, and other markets; develop relationships.
• Develop supplier relationships in South Korea; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Recruit and mentor regional sales reps with KPI-driven culture.
• Coordinate export logistics, shipments; engage freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Drive profitable revenue growth and manage budgets and forecasts.
