Job summary

All Things Science is seeking energetic instructors to teach after school STEM classes in the South Gate area. You will lead hands-on projects, encourage problem solving, and make science approachable and fun.

You will deliver activities with a ready-to-use curriculum, maintain an orderly and positive classroom, and promote curiosity, teamwork, and critical thinking while traveling to partner sites in the South Gate region.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with kids and keep them engaged.
• Background in camps, classrooms, or tutoring is helpful, and we train new instructors.
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new approaches.
• Interest in science, technology, or education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands on STEM activities with our ready to use curriculum
• Maintain an organized, positive classroom from start to finish
• Promote curiosity, teamwork, and critical thinking
• Work weekday afternoons, usually starting near 1:00 PM
• Travel to partner school sites across the South Gate area
