Job summary

State of Florida's Department of Corrections seeks a Plumber for the South Florida Reception Center. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year plumbing experience or 4+ years plumbing experience (training can substitute).
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing fixtures such as valves, faucets, traps, sinks, sewer lines, vents, and sanitary fixtures.
• Performs preventive maintenance for LP gas supply, waste collection and potable water systems.
• Reads blueprints, plans work, supervises inmates, and prepares reports.
