Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead culinary scratch cooking, catering, and food production while ensuring recipe compliance and safety standards.

You will manage kitchen staff, assist in budgeting, and step in for the Chef-Manager as needed, with a focus on delivering fresh, high-quality meals to customers. This PM shift (12-9) offers guaranteed hours with no weekends, benefits including health and dental, 401K, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have ServSafe certification and at least 2 years cooking experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Proficient in MS Office and kitchen computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Culinary scratch cooking, catering, and food production.
• Manage kitchen staff, training, and adherence to recipes and standards.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and cost control.
• Lead in the absence of the Chef-Manager.
