Compass Group USA seeks a Sous Chef to oversee the Culinary Department operations for a facility, assisting with supervision, preparation, and cooking of various items while helping develop daily menus and ordering. This role requires energetic, entrepreneurial culinary professionals.

The Sous Chef will work with the Executive Chef to implement cost controls, menu development, and catering initiatives, contributing to high-quality presentation and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• AS or equivalent experience; culinary/kitchen management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, complex foodservice operations.
• Experience in planning and creating menus and catering events.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef with cost controls and expenditures for the account.
• Assist with planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
