Job summary

North Italia, part of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, seeks a Sous Chef to lead a culinary team in crafting from-scratch dishes focused on quality and flavor. You will help guide operations and champion Great Hospitality, Every Time.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you’ll manage shifts, supervise staff, and work to meet kitchen and financial targets while maintaining a safe, clean environment for guests and teammates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume culinary management experience.
• Demonstrated working understanding of business operations and financials.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling, and planning.
• Demonstrate ingredient knowledge and understanding of culinary trends.
• Control cost of goods and search for solutions when targets are not met.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment care.
• Manage on-the-fly requests to create a calm, positive work environment.
• Discuss P&L with management and plan labor and budgets.
