Job summary

North Italia, part of Fox Restaurants Concepts, is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen focused on from-scratch Italian cuisine and exceptional hospitality. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to manage a high-volume service, ensuring quality, flavor, and consistency across all dishes.

We’re looking for hands-on leaders who can control costs, coach staff, and maintain a safe, clean kitchen while delivering memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume culinary management experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of business operations and financials.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory control; POSitouch and Crunchtime a plus.
• Able to work 10+ hour shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong leadership, coaching and cost-control skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts, scheduling, and daily kitchen planning.
• Demonstrate ingredient knowledge and culinary trend awareness.
• Help drive restaurant financials by controlling costs and optimizing labor.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment care.
• Handle on-the-fly requests calmly and professionally.
• Theory and practice of coaching and giving feedback to the team.
