The St. Joe Company is seeking a Sous Chef for Embassy Suites in Panama City Beach, FL. This role involves planning and directing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and assisting the Executive Chef with menu planning, inventory, and supplies.

The Sous Chef must uphold safety standards and sanitation and respond quickly during service. Key duties include preparing food to spec, portion control, equipment operation, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Science, Culinary Arts, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in food & beverage operations preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate with guests about job-related needs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food to specifications, ensure freshness and proper portions.
• Supervise kitchen staff and assist Executive Chef with planning.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and HACCP-like standards are followed.
