Job summary

Cobblestone Creek Country Club Corp located in Lawrence Township, NJ, seeks a Sous Chef to join a high-end club kitchen. You will be the second-in-command, overseeing food production for all outlets, banquets, and special events, while maintaining daily consistency and culinary creativity.

You will help elevate the club’s menu, ensure exceptional flavors and presentations, and lead a team to deliver outstanding member dining experiences with reliable leadership and fresh ideas.

Qualifications

• Culinary arts degree required.
• Minimum of three years progressive kitchen experience.
• Ability to contribute to menu development and elevate dining program.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or supervises daily prep of soups, sauces, and specials to standard recipes; contributes new seasonal dishes.
• Assist Exec Chef with inventories, pricing, cost controls, and food production requisitions.
• Conducts raw cost tracking and codes invoices for payment.
• Assists in staff supervision, sanitation, safety, and menu planning.
• Expedites orders during peak hours and ensures quality, cost, and presentation standards.
• Plans kitchen staffing for productivity and profitability and coordinates buffet presentations.
