Schweitzer's Crow's Bench restaurant seeks an inspiring Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in all kitchen operations. You will supervise staff, ensure quality and safety, and assist in menu planning and inventory management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of restaurant kitchen and line cook experience required
• Idaho Food Safety Certification (willing to take test upon hire)
• English reading & writing with basic math skills required
• Experience supervising staff and maintaining hygiene standards

Responsibilities

• Train staff in collaboration with Head Chef
• Lead kitchen staff through service and oversee prep/line operations
• Assist Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff efficiency
• Create prep lists and maintain backups for daily service
• Ensure high-quality food prepared per recipes and safety standards
• Rotate inventory and manage warehouse supplies
• Collaborate with Front of House and Back of House teams
