Job summary

American Dining Creations is seeking a Sous Chef in Dryden, NY to support the Chef and Executive Chef in daily culinary services. You will work with the culinary team to ensure recipes and safety standards are followed, while helping manage operations and quality.

The role requires leadership experience, familiarity with food safety regulations, and the ability to supervise kitchen staff and cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or culinary degree preferred.
• Three years in culinary leadership roles preferred.
• Experience planning staff schedules, hiring, and development.
• Knowledge of local/state food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with culinary points of service including events.
• Supervise BOH staff and provide guidance.
• Ensure recipe standards and food safety protocols.
• Maintain production records and equipment cleanliness.
• Cover shifts or stations during peak hours.
• Meet daily with Executive Chef or GM.
