Senior Living Residences (SLR) is hiring a Sous Chef for Cornerstone at Canton in Canton, MA. The role focuses on preparing and plating meals for residents, with ordering support and dietary accommodations. Full-time, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM shift, every other weekend, with a comprehensive benefits package.

We seek 1–2 years cooking experience and a Food Safety certification (preferred). DEI initiatives, bonus programs, and extensive development opportunities accompany competitive hourly pay.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Full Time: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM with every other weekend commitment

PAY & BENEFITS

Rates start at $23 - $25 per hour based on work experience

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The sous chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking, planning and plating food for meals and special events, assisting with ordering, and accommodating residents' dietary needs as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Food Safety certification, preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting
• Physical requirements : Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
