Senior Living Residences at Canton is seeking a dedicated sous chef to prepare, cook, plan, and plate meals for residents and special events. You will assist with ordering and accommodate dietary needs in a fast-paced, home-like environment that values safety and compassion.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of cook experience, a Food Safety certification (preferred), and a commitment to reliability and resident-centered service. Full-time shifts 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with every other weekend.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Full Time: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM with every other weekend commitment

PAY & BENEFITS

Rates start at $23 - $25 per hour based on work experience

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The sous chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking, planning and plating food for meals and special events, assisting with ordering, and accommodating residents' dietary needs as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Food Safety certification, preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting
• Physical requirements : Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
