In this role, you will be instrumental in the successful operation of our Culinary Department, assisting in the supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items. You will develop daily menu items and ensure their proper preparation and garnishment. Additionally, you will support and supervise up to 20 hourly associates, collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menus, assist with ordering, and execute catering events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and overseeing expenditures for the account.
• Help plan and create diverse and appealing menus.
• Produce and execute both large-scale and small-scale catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the company's marketing and culinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A.S. Degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of culinary/kitchen management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced setting, including country clubs, corporate dining, hotels, or restaurants
• Catering experience is required.
• Must be hands-on and able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience is helpful.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Must be experienced with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and the internet.
• Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
