Tutera Senior Living and Health Care is seeking a Sous Chef at their location in Loudon, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food items are prepared to culinary standards while providing an exceptional dining experience for residents.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a large-scale cooking operation, a passion for working with seniors, and excellent communication skills. A variety of benefits including health insurance and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

Job Description

As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring all food items are prepared to culinary standards, provide residents with an exceptional dining experience, maintain portion control, minimize waste, and inspect all aspects of the culinary service—including logs, cooking equipment, storage rotation, and food service—to ensure they are up-to-date, clean, and sanitary. You will perform area sanitation tasks, ensure foot safety, and assist in leading the culinary team in day‑to‑day operations.
