The Sous Chef is responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver high-quality, great-tasting food, ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures, and maintain profitability. The Sous Chef contributes to increasing top-line sales and guest count by fostering a highly capable team and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The role also involves supporting the Executive Chef in executing menu items with excellence and maintaining quality standards across all job aspects.

Job Requirements

  • Proven success as a Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume upscale or high-end resort restaurant
  • Strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service
  • Proven ability to develop and lead a team
  • Knowledge of systems, methods, and processes that contribute to excellent execution
  • Stable employment history demonstrating upward career progression
