Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. The Sous Chef will work closely with Chef Issaka to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and lead a dedicated culinary team. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and food preparation.
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portioning, and quality standards.
Oversee kitchen operations during service, maintaining smooth and efficient workflows.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Contribute to menu development, seasonal offerings, and special event planning.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet budget targets.
Uphold a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a luxury or fine dining environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent formal training preferred.
Deep knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and safety procedures.
