About Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark

Tucked within historic Lake Geneva, Timber Ridge Lodge is the only all-season, all-suite destination of its kind in the Midwest. Featuring 50,000 sq ft of indoor/outdoor waterpark excitement, Timber Ridge is a family bonding adventure. Located just 90 minutes from Chicago and 50 minutes from Milwaukee, it also hosts two championship golf courses, WELL Spa & Fitness Center, Mountain Top Ski Park, award-winning restaurants, and 1300 acres of grounds.

What will you be doing?

  • Ensure the quality of all food leaving the kitchen and maintain sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff.
  • Collaborate on menu development incorporating current trends and client needs.
  • Provide materials for line staff, including recipes and production schedules.
  • Oversee purchasing, employee discipline, and food safety adherence; report maintenance needs.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Create employee schedules based on volume needs.
  • Assume Executive Chef duties in their absence.

What do you bring to the role?

  • High school education required; culinary schooling or experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years of food management experience.
  • Proficient in safety and sanitation standards with kitchen equipment.
  • Strong math skills for recipe calculations.
  • Fluent in English for communication and recipes.
  • Able to lift up to 200 lbs, work in confined spaces, and extreme temperatures.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to lead and work in a team environment.
  • Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
