What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Sous Chef, you will ensure all food items meet culinary standards and provide residents with an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities include maintaining portion control, minimizing waste, inspecting culinary service areas, logs, equipment, storage, and food safety practices. You will also perform sanitation tasks, including cleaning equipment and workstations, and ensure foot safety. Additionally, you will assist in leading the culinary team in daily operations.

• A passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, energetic, and positive personality
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• At least two years of experience as a chef in a large-scale operation (preferred)
• Prior dietary experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings (preferred)
