Meridian Senior Living in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Sous Chef for full-time employment to oversee kitchen operations and ensure the proper preparation of the planned menu when the Executive Chef is unavailable.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, arithmetic skills, and 2–3 years of experience in fine dining settings; culinary education and supervisory background are desirable.

Responsabilidades

• The Sous Chef is responsible for the proper preparation of the planned menu in the absence of the Executive Chef and assists in the supervision of all kitchen employees maintaining a positive, courteous work environment for staff and residents.
• Plan and organize work, interpret instructions, recipes, specifications and standards.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance; some knowledge of nutrition and diet.
