Meridian Senior Living in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure the planned menu is executed to the highest standards. You will supervise kitchen staff, maintain a positive work environment, and support the Executive Chef in maintaining quality and safety.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of fine dining experience, strong leadership, and a background in culinary education.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Two to three years’ experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred.
• Culinary education and supervisory background desirable.
• Ability to plan and organize work, interpret instructions, recipes, specifications and standards.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance; some knowledge of nutrition and diet.
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills to work with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and other contacts.
• Serve Safe Certification a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
