Job summary

EchoStar is seeking a senior sourcing leader to drive strategy across complex categories and multi-year contracts. You will coach a team of Sourcing Managers, align with Legal, Finance, and Business Units, and push for supplier performance improvements using AI-driven tools.

You will shape category strategies, manage high-stakes RFx events, and deliver aggressive cost savings while maintaining governance and ethics in every step.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Supply Chain, Business, Finance) required; MBA preferred.
• 7–12 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• 3–5 years of direct management of managers or higher-level staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing sourcing team to drive cost savings and supplier performance.
• Develop category strategies and align cross-functional partners (Legal, Finance, Business Units).
• Manage complex RFx events, vendor negotiations, and contract drafting with a focus on value and risk mitigation.
