EnergyLink | A Quanta Services CompanyLocation: RemoteTravel: Up to 10%

Your Next Career Move Starts Here.

Great infrastructure doesn't happen by accident. It takes the right people, the right materials, and the right partnerships to bring complex projects to life.

At EnergyLink, a Quanta Services company, we're looking for a driven, strategic, and results-oriented Sourcing Specialist who knows how to turn sourcing challenges into business opportunities.

You'll play a critical role in supporting Transmission, Substation, and Distribution (T&D) Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, helping secure the materials, equipment, and supplier partnerships that keep essential infrastructure moving forward.

If you enjoy negotiating deals, building supplier relationships, solving complex challenges, and making a measurable impact, this is your opportunity to do more than source materials. It's your opportunity to help power what's next.

What You'll Do
  • Own the sourcing process: Lead competitive bids, RFQs, and RFPs for large-scale materials and equipment supporting T&D EPC projects.
  • Turn project needs into sourcing strategies: Review client RFPs, engineering designs, specifications, and material requirements to develop comprehensive bid packages.
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships: Identify, evaluate, prequalify, and engage vendors capable of supporting complex infrastructure projects.
  • Negotiate with purpose: Evaluate commercial proposals, negotiate competitive pricing and contract terms, and deliver cost-effective sourcing solutions.
  • Drive smarter decisions: Analyze bids, assess commercial risks, compare supplier capabilities, and present recommendations to project leadership.
  • Protect project success: Validate material quantities, ensure sourcing accuracy, and support compliance with project requirements, including Buy American and MBE/WBE provisions.
  • Collaborate across the business: Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams to deliver results.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Manage competing priorities, anticipate sourcing challenges, and support critical project milestones.
What You'll Bring
  • 3–10+ years of sourcing or procurement experience supporting electric utilities, power generation, or EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Transmission & Distribution materials, including overhead and underground infrastructure components.
  • Familiarity with substation equipment, such as breakers, capacitor banks, and related electrical infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience managing RFQs, RFPs, competitive bids, supplier evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ability to review engineering drawings, material requirements, bid packages, and commercial agreements.
  • Experience evaluating supplier proposals, identifying commercial risks, and negotiating favorable pricing and terms.
  • Strong vendor management, relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Confidence working across multiple projects while managing deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.

Experience in T&D or electric utilities is strongly preferred. Candidates with relevant sourcing experience in other EPC industries will also be considered.

Bonus Points If You Bring:
  • Established relationships with utility manufacturers, suppliers, or equipment vendors.
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure construction projects.
  • Familiarity with material estimating, procurement compliance, and supplier prequalification.
What You'll Get

At EnergyLink, we believe the people behind our projects are just as important as the projects themselves. That's why we're focused on creating an environment where talented professionals can build meaningful careers while contributing to infrastructure that makes a difference.
