Job summary

Outset, the AI-powered research platform, is hiring a Sourcer for a full-time, temporary 3-month assignment in San Francisco. You will build and manage top-of-funnel candidate pipelines and partner with recruiters to keep pipelines full of qualified, engaged candidates.

You'll use LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and Boolean search to identify passive talent, maintain candidate records, and report on sourcing metrics in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sourcing experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong written communication skills - you can write outreach that gets responses
• Comfort with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, Ashby experience a plus)
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple open roles and pipelines simultaneously
• Self-starter who can work with ambiguity and tight timelines
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, temporary engagement with clear deliverables

Responsibilities

• Build and execute sourcing strategies for open roles across the organization, using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and Boolean search
• Proactively identify, engage, and qualify passive candidates through outbound outreach
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine sourcing criteria
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records and pipeline status in Ashby
• Track and report on sourcing metrics (response rates, pipeline conversion, time-to-fill contributions)
• Help maintain a strong candidate experience from first outreach through handoff
