Isaac Morris Limited in New York City is seeking a Sourcing and Production Director to oversee end-to-end apparel production, from vendor selection to on-time delivery and quality compliance.

You will source factories globally, negotiate pricing, coordinate with design and sales, and manage the supply chain from order placement to shipment, driving profitability and standards across mid-tier and mass retailers.

Qualifications

• Strong production planning and production management skills to coordinate calendars, capacity, and delivery timelines.
• Expertise in quality management and manufacturing to ensure product consistency, compliance, and efficient factory operations.
• Ability to apply strategic planning to sourcing, vendor portfolio management, and long-term production roadmap development.
• Extensive experience in the apparel industry, including cut-and-sew processes, fabric and trim sourcing, and global supply chains.
• Proven vendor negotiation and relationship management skills, with experience working with overseas factories and agents.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including proficiency with production tracking tools and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end apparel production from vendor selection to on-time delivery and quality compliance.
• Source new factories internationally for manufacturing opportunities for mid-tier and mass retailers.
• Negotiate and finalize pricing and assign orders to factories/countries based on quality, reliability, and cost.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Sales to develop products and ensure profitable margins.
• Manage the entire supply chain from order placement to shipment across overseas vendors.
