Job summary

Lands’ End is seeking an Assistant Sourcing Manager to support product management, time and action calendars, cost negotiations and vendor communications. You will partner with the Associate Sourcing Manager on seasonal recaps, flow plans and lead times to optimize orders and reorders.

Required is a Bachelor's degree in Apparel/Retail Merchandising or related field and 0–2 years in product management or sourcing, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Apparel/Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain, Business, Marketing or related field.
0–2 years’ experience in product management and sourcing.
Strong analytical and communication skills; highly organized and able to prioritize.
Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables) and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

Partner with Associate Manager on seasonal Sourcing recaps, flow plans, costing information and vendor placements.
Assist in lead times to maximize flexibility and speed for initial orders and reorders.
Analyze costs based on corporate cost direction and support production timelines to meet delivery deadlines.
Review development timelines to support production schedules and calendar milestones.
Review and resolve delivery and production issues with merchants and designers as they arise.
Monitor proto yardage, fabric development and CAD development tracking; maintain development charts.
