Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a motivated Sourcing Intern to support sourcing, procurement, supplier engagement, analytics, and process improvement.

This internship welcomes college Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors interested in building early career experience in supply chain, sourcing, operations, and analytics within the energy sector. You will learn real-world sourcing processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop professional skills through hands-on assignments and team

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated academic achievement and interest in business, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing projects related to supplier management, data analysis, process improvement, sustainability, and operational execution.
• Assist with supplier research, spend analysis, PO review, savings tracking, and sourcing performance reporting.
• Learn and apply sourcing tools, dashboards, and standard work for informed business decisions.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Legal, and other partners as needed.
• Prepare presentations, trackers, summaries, and project updates for team meetings and leadership reviews.
• Support continuous improvement by improving data quality and process discipline.
• Participate in team meetings, intern learning experiences, and networking opportunities.
