Job summary

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, SaaS, and technology services
• Lead competitive sourcing, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and renewals
• Partner with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to define technical and operational requirements
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, risk, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify savings, cost-avoidance opportunities, and additional sources of business value
• Analyze market trends and benchmark supplier pricing
• Support procurement operations, including purchase requests, procure-to-pay workflows, delivery tracking, and goods receipt
• Ensure compliance with established procurement policies and processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, or a related field
• At least five years of sourcing, procurement, or category management experience
• Strong experience sourcing IT hardware, software, SaaS, or data center services
• Proven success negotiating contracts and managing strategic suppliers
• Experience supporting technical, engineering, or R&D stakeholders
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience using procurement systems and strategic sourcing tools
• Ability to balance cost, supplier risk, service quality, and operational requirements

Preferred Experience

• Technology sourcing experience within a high-tech or engineering-driven environment
• Knowledge of software licensing models, renewals, and supplier agreements
• Demonstrated success delivering cost savings and supplier-performance improvements
