We are seeking an experienced Supplier Sourcing Expertto join our dynamic team at Arctech Solar, a leading global provider of solar tracking systems and solutions. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our supply chain, ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials and components that drive our innovation in the solar tracker industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and a deep understanding of the solar tracker sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize the cost, quality, and delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative sources of supply.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and work with suppliers to address any issues.
• Analyze market trends and supplier costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Manage and execute cost-saving initiatives and drive value engineering efforts.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that all purchased materials and services meet the required specifications and standards.
• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement programs.
• Identify and assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity in the event of supply disruptions.
• Ensure that all sourcing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Promote and implement sustainable sourcing practices in line with Arctech's commitment to environmental responsibility.
• Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
• Analyze procurement data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in procurement is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on the renewable energy industry especially the tracker sector.
• Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.
• Familiarity with solar tracker components and materials, as well as the renewable energy market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
