Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch company, is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to support procurement and project execution for civil and structural materials. You will source materials, process purchase orders, and coordinate with field personnel to ensure timely delivery.

This role sits in Katy, TX, Monday–Friday, and entails building strong supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting procurement or sourcing activities.
• Experience reviewing specifications, pricing information, purchase orders, or related documentation.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business or project needs.
• Experience managing multiple assignments or priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Source civil and structural materials in support of project requirements and schedules.
• Review material specifications, vendor quotations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies prior to order release
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery commitments.
• Create, review, and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing, quantities, delivery terms, supporting documentation, and compliance with company policies and project requirements.
• Support field personnel, project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders by responding to procurement needs and resolving sourcing and material issues
• Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
