Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch company, is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to support procurement and project execution activities for civil and structural materials. The role is based in Katy, TX, in-office, Monday through Friday, and not open to Visa sponsorship.

You will join a collaborative sourcing team that supports engineering, construction, and field operations across multiple projects, focusing on material availability and supplier relationships to drive on-time delivery and

Qualifications

• Experience supporting procurement or sourcing activities.
• Experience reviewing specifications, pricing information, purchase orders, or related documentation.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business or project needs.
• Experience managing multiple assignments or priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Source civil and structural materials in support of project requirements and schedules.
• Review material specifications, vendor quotations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies prior to order released.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery commitments.
• Create, review, and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing, quantities, delivery terms, supporting documentation, and compliance with company policies and project requirements.
• Support field personnel, project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders by responding to procurement needs and resolving sourcing and material issues.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
