Job summary

VALIANT TECHNOLOGIES LLC in Norwalk, CT is seeking an analytic professional to support the Supply Chain Sourcing Specialists with data mining, opportunity assessment, and initiative support.

You will develop, maintain and manage standardized reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI tracking, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery. The role interfaces with Finance for savings impact analysis and collaborates with multiple internal groups and 3rd-party services to maximize data utility.

Responsibilities

• Provide Analytic support to Supply Chain Sourcing Specialists including data mining for opportunity assessment, support of sourcing initiatives (RFP data elements and evaluation).
• Develop, maintain and manage standardized reporting and tracking tools including Metric Dashboards, KPI tracking, Workplan tracking and maintenance.
• Responsible for maintaining savings tracking and liaison with Finance/Accounting staff to assure savings/impact analysis is accurate and appropriately documented.
• Coordinates with various internal groups to ensure accuracy and availability of data sources including assessment of departmental level supply utilization highlighting variances and opportunties
• Interface and coordinate with various 3rd party services to assure accuracy of data submissions, data requests and maximize effective utilization of those tools. Services include but not limited to; Vizient, Captis, GHX, ECRI, etc.Analyze indirect spend data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and sourcing priorities.
• Analyze the information, prepare reports and presentations to support the Category Managers in negotiations, projects etc
• Support in the research for new suppliers when needed
• Support RFx processes, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Maintain supplier performance dashboards and track KPIs.
• Assist in the development of category strategies, procurement policies, and supplier vetting and rationalization initiatives.
