Job summary

Microboard Processing, Inc. in Seymour, CT is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to review customer data packages, prepare technical quote reviews, and support supplier quote packages with BOM conditioning.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and program management to ensure accurate data and effective cost analysis. The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent experience, advanced Excel, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
• Strong team player, fast learner and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Review customer quote data packages and coordinate with PM/BD to resolve missing/unclear data.
• Prepare quote technical reviews for leadership and determine technical suitability/alignment.
• Assist sourcing with supplier quote packages, BOM conditioning, and make/buy evaluations for custom components.
• Engage other departments for deliverables needed to support quotes.
• Create baseline process flow assumptions for quoting and production planning.
• Perform time studies to ensure labor estimating accuracy.
• Advise on changes to build assumptions for potential cost recovery.
• Support evaluation of planned vs actual labor performance.
• Take on special projects as needed.
