Job Summary:

We’re looking for a sales-driven acoustics professional to lead the commercial success of our wool-based acoustic panels. This product is developed, tested, and ready to scale — we now need someone who can get it into the hands of architects, designers, contractors, and acoustic consultants.

This role requires someone who understands the technical nuances of sound management and can clearly articulate the benefits of our sustainable, non-toxic solution in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the sales strategy and execution for Havelock’s wool sound panel product line
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers: architects, acousticians, interior designers, builders, and facility managers
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demos that speak to acoustic performance and sustainability
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation through to close
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with specifiers, channel partners, and end users

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in sales or business development, ideally in acoustics, building materials, or architectural products
  • Strong technical understanding of sound absorption, acoustic ratings (e.g., NRC), and material performance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to speak with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and build lasting client relationships
  • Passion for sustainability and interest in transforming the built environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Acoustics, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields)
