Job summary

The Salvation Army in Hattiesburg, MS seeks a part-time Warehouse Associate to receive, sort, price, and prepare donated items for display in the store. You will inspect items, assign pricing, and maintain order in the warehouse while assisting with display preparation.

No formal education or experience is required, and the role includes PTO accrual and optional AFLAC policies. Physical ability to lift light objects and work in a warehouse environment is required.

• Ability to sort items by category and condition.
• Attention to detail in pricing and tagging items.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects and sorts donated items such as clothes, shoes, household items according to category and condition.
• Prices items and prepares them for store display.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Tags items with coded tickets and/or prices.
• Hangs clothes on hangers and places them on racks.

Schedule/Hours: (29.00 hours weekly – this is a PART-TIME POSITION – WILL ALTERNATE WORKING ONE SATURDAY PER MONTH)IMPORTANT!!
