Job summary

Dal-Tile, a major tile and stone manufacturer, seeks a Sorter to inspect and sort finished tile in our Muskogee, OK facility. You will verify shade and defects, discard defective pieces, and support safe, efficient production lines.

Typical duties include monitoring processes, following SOPs, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires physical activity, flexibility, and basic English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Strong communication and record-keeping abilities are essential.
• Good listening skills and attention to detail are important.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Sorter to join our TEAM! As the Sorter we need someone who can perform a variety of inspection and sorting finished tile.

Primary Objective:

Inspects and sorts finished tile.

Major Function and Scope

Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.Discards defective tile into trash hoppers.Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.Follows standard operating procedures.Keeps area safe, clean and organized.Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience.Previous manufacturing/production experience.

Competency

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.
