Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is the largest tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States. We are seeking a Sorter to inspect and sort finished tile and support production with consistent quality.

Responsibilities include inspecting shade and defects, discarding rejects, monitoring processes, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. A high school diploma and prior manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• Previous manufacturing/production experience.
• Strong communication and basic English proficiency.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Sorter to join our TEAM! As the Sorter we need someone who can perform a variety of inspection and sorting finished tile.

Primary Objective

Inspects and sorts finished tile.

Major Function and Scope

Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.

Discards defective tile into trash hoppers.

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

Follows standard operating procedures.

Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Previous manufacturing/production experience.
