Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is hiring a Sorter for the D shift (nights) to inspect and sort finished tile at our manufacturing facility in Oklahoma. The role emphasizes identifying shade and visual defects, maintaining clean work areas, and following SOPs.

Experience in manufacturing and good communication skills are valued; physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow process instructions.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and sorts finished tile.
• Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Sorter to join our TEAM! As the Sorter we need someone who can perform a variety of inspection and sorting finished tile.

Primary Objective

Inspects and sorts finished tile.

Major Function and Scope

Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

Follows standard operating procedures.

Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Previous manufacturing/production experience.

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.
