Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Sorting Machine Operator for its onsite team in El Dorado Hills, CA. You will set up and run high-speed presort equipment to prepare mail for USPS acceptance, ensuring customer requirements are met and quality is maintained.

Opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts (Sunday–Tuesday, and every other Saturday). Salary ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, plus shift differential; bonus eligibility is noted.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation beneficial.
• Experience operating material insert machines is required.

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Sorting Machine Operator to join our onsite team in El Dorado Hills, CA. In this role, you will set up and run high-speed presort equipment, preparing mail for acceptance by the USPS, and ensuring all customer requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to follow in-depth work instructions and keep the machine running at the optimal pace for each job.
• Set up and operation of high speed, automated computer-controlled equipment, including performance of preventative maintenance and authorized repairs.
• Monitors and is responsible for quality throughout each job. Completes all required documentation relevant to every job.
• Follows all departmental and safety procedures.
• May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
• Meet and maintain departmental throughout goals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within a production environment, with knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation
• Experience in the operation of material insert machines is necessary.

Skills/Competencies:

• Attention to detail, sound judgment and prioritizing skills
• Ability to adhere to all quality standards
• Ability to take direction and to work with a sense of urgency
• Computer skills a plus

Requirements:

• Demonstrates the ability to work with a sense of urgency while prioritizing tasks to meet or adjust to changing demands.
• Requires standing for 12-hour shifts, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime
• Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge's policies

Shift: Early Week Night - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM.

Salary rate is $18.00 -$19.00 per hour, plus a shift differential. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
