Job summary

Valley Staffing is seeking candidates for a 3rd shift position in Pulaski, VA. The role focuses on inspecting, sorting, and stacking materials such as pallets, frames, and lids.

Responsibilities include following quality standards, maintaining inventory control, logging materials, and alerting supervisors to any issues. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work safely in a team environment.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am

Job Summary: Primarily responsible for inspection, separating and stacking materials such as pallets, frames and lids.

Essential Functions:

• \\- Inspect and separate material according to Quality standards.
• \\- Distinguishes different material and understands inventory and inventory control.
• \\- Responds to requests for assistance in a timely manner.
• \\- Ensure materials is logged appropriately on the sorting sheet.
• \\- Notifies supervisor of any quality or safety issues.
• \\- Maintains effective interpersonal working relationships and functions as a team member.
• \\- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• \\- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Working conditions:

• \\- Occasional outside work required
• \\- Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more.

Requirements:

• \\- High school or GED required
• \\- Knowledge of basic hand tools
