Fogo de Chão in Huntington Station, NY, is hiring a Bartender to welcome guests, suggest beverages, and prepare drinks according to our churrasco-inspired menu. You will keep bar stock, ensure legal service, and assist with effective upselling.

The role includes cash handling, balancing the register, and learning our wine and cocktail offerings while maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read customers and determine beverage preferences.
• Knowledge of beverages, ingredients, and menu items.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers, taking beverage orders and making recommendations.
• Informing customers about new beverages and specials.
• Be knowledgeable of menu items and respond to questions.
• Mixing ingredients, garnishing, and serving beverages.
• Check IDs and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
• Take inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Prepare and serve menu items per recipes and guidelines.
• Handle multiple tables, clear tables, and manage cash/transactions.
• Educate coworkers on bar vocabulary and techniques.
• Perform tasks assigned by management.
