Job summary

Fogo de Chão is seeking a Bartender to welcome guests, recommend beverages, and prepare a variety of drinks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will ensure accurate orders, handle payments, and maintain compliance with liquor laws.

This on-site role offers opportunities to upsell, share knowledge about drinks, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience at our restaurant. Compensation includes a fixed hourly rate plus tips, with full-time benefits for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Welcomes customers and determines beverage preferences
• Knowledgeable about menu items, contents, and preparation methods
• Able to upsell and suggest pairings
• Accurately handle cash and card transactions
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages in compliance with laws

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and take beverage orders and recommendations
• Inform customers about beverages, specials and upsell where appropriate
• Mix, garnish and serve drinks; ensure correct preparation
• Check IDs to verify legal age and ensure compliance with liquor laws
• Handle multiple tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness
• Balance cash register and manage transactions
• Educate team on bar vocabulary and drink knowledge
• Assist with inventory and supplies as needed
• Perform tasks assigned by management
