Job summary

Maker's Pride seeks a Documentation Specialist to create, manage, and maintain manufacturing process documents, quality controls, and safety protocols. You will ensure accuracy, up-to-date records, and regulatory compliance while collaborating across Production, QA, Safety, and Engineering.

The role requires keen attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to support staff with document control procedures in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years' experience in data entry and document control.
• Experience with GMPs, HACCP, and SQF.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit SOPs and work instructions for manufacturing.
• Audit and ensure documents reflect current practices and regulations.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, Safety, and Engineering.
• Provide staff training on document control procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and document control tech.
