JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Senior Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other required modalities within individual department(s).
• Examinations are performed independently, under physician supervision, and with peer collaboration as is appropriate.
• The Senior Sonographer also helps to mentor and educate all levels of staff.
• The Senior Sonographer possesses the applicable credentials to the departmental role.
• Senior Sonographer fulfills the necessary and applicable time and experience requirements related to the position.

Minimum Requirements:

• Advanced Certification - ARDMS OB/GYN Certified
• Graduated from an accredited diagnostic Sonography program
• Minimum of 6 months of scanning experience outside of clinicals, which include OB/GYN.
