Novant Health in Winston-Salem invites a Sonography Student to join our REMARKABLE acute care team on a PRN schedule. In the GWM Resource Pool you will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment while contributing to patient care and diagnostic moments, learning from experienced professionals who mentor and support your growth.

Eligibility includes enrollment in a CAAHEP or ARRT-recognized Sonography Program (or ARRT), with two semesters completed, strong communication

Qualifications

• Education: Enrollment in a CAAHEP or ARRT-recognized Sonography Program (or ARRT) is required.
• Experience: Successful completion of two semesters in a recognized Sonography Program is required.
• Skills: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation; good communication; working knowledge of ultrasound equipment; adapt to various situations by patient age; basic US exams; basic computer skills.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2nd year Sonography student interesting in cross training in Sonography
• Successful completion of two semesters in an accredited Sonography Program and currently enrolled in the Sonography Program in 2nd Year
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
