Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Sonographer I to join our REMARKABLE acute care team in the Charlotte region. The role involves preparing patients and operating ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic scans, supporting physicians in diagnostic procedures.

PRN schedule in the imaging resource pool. Required education is an Associate degree with ARRT/ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire and at least 1 year of sonography experience.

Qualifications

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.
• Experience: Minimum of one years of experience in sonography, required.
• Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire, required; NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required; NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS, required.
